29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(iv): Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment were used to support scaffold platforms when they were not specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use: a) 29 Lafayette Street, Spring Valley, NY (New Residential Construction): An employee was required to conduct framing work, and was working from the forks (platform supported by wood) of a JLG Skytrak Telehandler, at over 30 feet above the ground surface. The employer did not ensure that pieces of equipment was not used to support scaffold platforms, when not specifically designed by the manufacturer, on or about 3/6/23.
