29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of energy control procedures, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performs any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment was isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative. a) Halo Farm Inc. - Throughout the Production Area: The employer did not establish a Lock Out/Tag Out Program consisting of energy control procedures, employees training, and periodic inspections to protect employees against the unexpected energization of equipment when servicing or cleaning machines. Machinery or equipment includes but is not limited to; H90 Evergreen Filler Machine, Separator machine, Homogenizer machine Model #270F, S/N 214502014, Toledo Pasteurizer machine S/N 813253A, Tindal Packing machine Model # 812, and ice cream machine, observed on or about 03/01/2023.
