29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed. On or about March 1, 2023, Dixon Ticonderoga Company had not completed a periodic inspection of the 3001 Flexo Press energy control procedures at least annually to ensure the energy control procedures were accurate, steps in the energy control procedure are being followed, and the employees involved knew their responsibilities under the procedure exposing employees to inadvertent/accidental restart of equipment.
