29 CFR 1910.255(b)(5): The hazard of flying sparks was not, wherever practical, eliminated by installing a shield guard of safety glass or suitable fire resistant plastic at the point of operation: a) Coupling to Shell Assembly line, Projection Welder 5151; On or about February 17, 2023 and times prior the employer exposed employees to burn hazards in that the employer did not provide guarding which eliminated the hazard of flying sparks for employees performing welding activities on a coupling to shell projection welder.
