29 CFR 1910.1025(d)(2): An initial determination was not made to determine if any employee may be exposed to lead at or above the action level. On or about February 28, 2023 Thoughtful Craftsmen failed to implement a procedure to monitor if employees were exposed to lead at or above the action level of 30 micrograms per cubic meter of air. a) On February 28, 2023, an employee tasked with stripping the old paint off window frames in the window tuning room was exposed to a time weighted average (TWA) of 52.937 micrograms per cubic meter of air for lead, approximately 23 micrograms per cubic meter above the action level. Sampling accounted for the period of 337 minutes, and zero exposure was assumed for the remaining 143 minutes.
