29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: a- 261 90th Street, Stone Harbor NJ: Company worksite workers were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 25 feet to the ground surface below, when climbing up and down the track sections of a shingle shuttle in order to access a resdential structure's pitched roof and egress to the ground surface below. Condition observed on or about 02/08/23. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
