OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1) The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: The nip points of all drum winders and rewinders located on the operator's side were not guarded by either automatic or manually operated barrier guards of sufficient height to protect fully anyone working around them. The barrier guard was not interlocked with the drive mechanism to prevent operating above jog speed without the guard in place: a) Winder machine- Employees working on the rewinder machine were exposed to unguarded nipping points from barrier guards that were not interlocked with the drive mechanism in all modes above jog speed, on or about January 24, 2023. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION AND CERTIFCATION REQUIRED
