29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) On or about January 10, 2023, at the previously addressed inspection site, employees engaged in roofing activities including cleaning and clearing trash from the roof at heights greater than 6 feet or more above lower levels were not protected from falls and were not provided a training program to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and procedures to follow to minimize fall hazards and hazards associated with falls. Beck Roofing, Inc. dba L.J. Beck Roofing & Guttering, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or a substantially similar Occupational Safety and Health Standard, 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1390067, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 8-6-2019, with respect to a workplace located at Texas Roadhouse, 3830 NYS Route 31, Liverpool, NY, 13090.
