29 CFR 1910.106(e)(2)(iv)(a): Category 1 or 2 flammable liquids, or Category 3 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 �F (37.8 �C), were not kept in covered containers when not actually in use: a) Paint Shop, prep area: On or about December 14, 2022, employees worked within 10 feet of 21 five-gallon cans of Value Works general purpose thinner, a Category 2 flammable liquid, which were stored and not kept in covered containers when not in use.
