29 CFR 1910.184(c)(1): Sling(s) that were damaged or defective were used: On or about November 29, 2022, in Zone C-1 of the production yard for an establishment located at 3898 Selvitz Road in Fort Pierce, Florida, an employee was exposed to a struck-by hazard when utilizing a steel chain sling which had a damaged throat latch on the end hook of that sling to suspend a stressing jack ram cylinder from the forks of a rough terrain forklift.
