Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to caught-in or between hazards: a) On or about November 21, 2022, in Unit 1/2, employees using the manlift on the ascending side while wearing backpacks were exposed to being caught in or between the edge of opening and a rising step. b) On or about November 23, 2023, at the first floor of Unit 1/2 manlift, the landing space for ascending travel had a clearance of approximately 17-inches. Employees using the manlift were exposed to being caught between a rising step and a pillar.
