29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) are not kept free and unobstructed: a) Dollar General Store #9882 located at 42165 Alabama 195, Haleyville, AL 35565: The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent fire and entrapment hazards as demonstrated on or about November 10, 2022, in the storage/receiving room, in that the exit route was not kept free and unobstructed from merchandise, roll-tainers, and U-boats, to ensure a safe walkway for employees to exit in case of an emergency. To abate this hazard, the employer must ensure that exit routes are kept clear and unobstructed. DOLGENCORP, LLC dba Dollar General was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1507692 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 10, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 312 S. Hwy. 27/441, Lady Lake, FL. Dollar General was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1483184 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 16, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 11 River Road 35, North Arlington, NJ 07031.
