29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached), where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 M) above the walking/working surface, is not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. a - 32 Staton Road, Mount Holly NJ: Workers were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 12 feet 9 inches to the ground surface, when accessing and egressing an A-framed ladder that was set outside of an unprotected window opening having an inside bottom edge approximately 24 inches above the walking/working surface. Condition noted on or about 11/08/22. b - 36 Staton Road, Mount Holly NJ: A worker was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 12 feet 6 inches to the ground surface, when retrieving 2 x 4s from an unprotected window opening having an inside bottom edge approximately 24 inches above the walking/working surface.
