29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: (a) Stock Room Main Exit Door: On or about 10/20/2022, portable fire extinguishers were not located so that they were readily accessible without subjecting employees to injuries in that they were completely blocked by the storage of boxes of merchandise, piled up to approximately 6 feet 11 inches in height. (b) Stock room wall adjacent next to the second exit: On or about 10/20/2022, portable fire extinguishers were not located so that they were readily accessible without subjecting employees to injuries in that they were completely blocked by the storage of boxes of merchandise, piled up along the back wall. Employees were incapable of reaching this space due to the amount of boxes stacked in front of the wall where only the sticker can be seen.
