Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: a) Production Areas- On or about October 12, 2022, the employer had not ensured that periodic inspections of the energy control procedures were conducted at least annually to ensure that the procedures and requirements of the energy control program were properly implemented and followed by employees while performing roll changes, maintenance and of repair on equipment including the New Lantech Stretch Wrapper and the Old Lantech Stretch Wrapper. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
