29 CFR 1926.600(a)(3)(ii): Equipment was parked on an incline without being chocked or having the parking brake set: a) BAPS Northeast-Front Lot, 100 North Main St, Robbinsville, NJ 08691: Employee(s) were exposed to struck by hazard(s) while installing curb forms at the facility parking lot. The Employee was operating a Case 580 Super N (serial #BUR1025826) backhoe to retrieve curb forms from a CONEX box and deliver them to designated locations along the curb excavation. The employee e parked the Case 580SN on an incline. The employee exited the backhoe and did not chock the tires or set the parking brake. The backhoe rolled forward striking the employee and pinning him to the ground. Occurred on or about September 23, 2022. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
