Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse. a) The employer fails to ensure effective protection against struck-by hazards as required by the standard, as demonstrated on or about September 01, 2022, at 3649 Victory Drive, Columbus, GA, 31903, when merchandise was stacked above rolltainers in an unstable manner. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that merchandise is not stored on top of the rolltainers in an unsecure manner. The Dolgencorp LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.176(b) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1550484 , citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on March 18, 2022 , with respect to a workplace located at 2912 N MCVAY DR., MOBILE AL.
