29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: On or about August 10, 2022 at the job site located at 9536 Ridge Rd, North Royalton, Ohio 44133; during the installation of roofing material on a residential roof, the employer did not ensure portable ladders extend 3 feet above the upper landing surface. Roofing Solutions Joe LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926. 1053(b)(1) Ladders), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1257926, citation number 01, item number 03 and was affirmed as a final order on (10/26/2017), with respect to a workplace located at 4343 Mallard Ave, Stow, Ohio 44224.
