29 CFR 1910.101(b):The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6: a) Shop Bays/Welding Bay 1: On or about 8/9/2022, four compressed gas cylinders were not secured while being stored against the wall near the roll-up door. b) Shop Bays/Welding Bay 2: On or about 8/9/2022, two compressed gas cylinders were not secured while being stored against the wall in front of the electrical panel. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
