29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): The employer is exposing employees to fall hazards where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards. This was most recently documented on August 4, 2022 at 1700 15th Street, Beatrice, Nebraska when employees were observed working on the roof of a residential structure. The ladder used by the employees was not extended over the upper landing surface.
