29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: (a) Hillandale Gettysburg LP, 370 Spicer Road, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania - Employees did not wear hard hats while performing demolition operations on commercial poultry houses, exposing employees to getting struck by dropped or flying tools or materials or to injury from impact with overhead structures, on or about July 29, 2022. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
