29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who was exposed to fall hazards that enabled each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) Jobsite located at 2508 E Cumberland St, Philadelphia, PA: The employer did not provide an effective training program for employees performing work at or near an unguarded 3 foot by 7.75 foot floor hole, potentially exposing employees to fall hazards of approx. 12 feet above the next lower level. Condition noted on or about June 13, 2022. JVL Company Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1295557, citation number 2, item number 1-b and was affirmed as a final order on 7-23-2018, with respect to a workplace located at 601 Christian Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147.
