29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i):Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section. On or about May 11, 2022, and times prior thereto, employees were exposed to stored energy hazards without the use of an energy control program: a) Three employees clean the Hobart mixing machine while the machine is still plugged into the electrical energy source, exposing employees to hazards such as, but not limited to, the release of stored energy and unexpected startup. b) Three employees clean the Estella mixing machine while the machine is still plugged into the electrical energy source, exposing employees to hazards such as, but not limited to, the release of stored energy and unexpected startup.
