29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed. a) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent fire and entrapment hazards as demonstrated on or about April 28, 2022, in the back storage room, both exit doors were obstructed by merchandise, roll-tainers, and U-boats, impeding the means of egress for employees. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that all exit routes are kept clear. b) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent fire and entrapment hazards as demonstrated on or about April 28, 2022, on aisle #1 of the main store area, the exit route was obstructed by merchandise and a U-boat.
