29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2):Employee(s) using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator. Kauffman and Siebert Households: On or about April 6, 2022, employees providing direct care for COVID-19 positive residents while wearing N95 respirators were not fit tested prior to using the respirator. The employer required employees to wear N95 filtering facepiece respirators to protect against the SARS-CoV-2 Virus while providing care to suspected and confirmed positive residents The Jewish Home for the Elderly of Fairfield County Inc, dba Jewish Senior Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.134(f)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1495500, citation number 1, item number 1c and was affirmed as a final order on April 1, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 4200 Park Avenue in Bridgeport Connecticut.
