29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent fire and entrapment hazards as demonstrated on or about March 29, 2022, at 3201 South Cobb Dr SE Smyrna, GA, in the back receiving/storage room, where employees work the merchandise. The far-left emergency exit door was obstructed by store merchandise, roll-tainers, and U-boats, impeding direct means of egress for employees in the event of an emergency. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that all emergency exit routes are kept unobstructed and free from product to ensure a safe walkway for employees to exit the emergency exit door in case of an emergency. The Dollar General was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1551005 citation number 2 item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 21, 2022, with respect to a workpl
