29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(6): Ladders were not used only on stable and level surfaces and were not secured to prevent accidental displacement. On or about: February 8, 2022 Location: 20 Wilson Ave, Spring Valley NY 10956 a) West Side (Building Exterior) Employees were utilizing a 32-foot portable aluminum extension ladder that was placed on unstable ground due to rocks and trash. Extension ladders used on surfaces that were not stable and level were not secured to prevent accidental displacement.
