29 CFR 1910.219(c)(2)(i):All exposed part(s) of horizontal shafting seven (7) feet or less from floor or working platform were not protected by stationary casing(s) enclosing shafting completely or by trough(s) enclosing sides and top or sides and bottom of shafting: On or about December 27, 2021, during the operation of the MEDART #6 Two-Roll at the work location 2401 Gambrinus Avenue SW, Canton, Ohio 44706 (Plant A, finishing Department) the employer did not ensure operator(s) of the MEDART #6 Two-Roll Straightener were protected by one or more methods of machine guarding from the moving and rotating parts of the drive shafts and knuckles exposing employees to caught-on entanglement hazard likely to result in serious injury.
