29 CFR 1910.25(c)(3): The employer did not ensure that standard stairs had a minimum tread depth of 9.5 inches (24 cm). (a) CJ TMI Manufacturing America, LLC, Blue Room : The stairways, containing 7 steps on each side, and used to access machines in the blue room, had a tread depth of 7 inches, on or about 2/17/2022. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
