29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program was understood by employees: On or about November 27, 2021, the employer failed to provide training to ensure affected and authorized employees understood the purpose and function of the energy control program and employees had acquired the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of energy controls. The employer engages in the service and maintenance activities on machinery and equipment including, a Sonny's Over-Under Conveyor Soft Drop car wash system. The conveyor contained electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic stored energy.
