29 CFR 1926.1203(b)(1): Where the workplace contained one or more permit spaces, the employer who identified, or received notice of, a permit space did not inform exposed employees by posting danger signs or by any other equally effective means of the existence and location of, and the danger posed by, each permit space. On the north side of the intersection of US Highway 62 and Sundowner Ranch Avenue, the employer did not post danger signs to inform employees replacing a ductile pipe in a 31-feet deep well of the danger posed by the permit space.
