29 CFR 1910.95(g)(5)(ii): Where mobile test vans were used to meet the audiometric testing obligation, the employer did not obtain a valid baseline audiogram within 1 year of an employee's first exposure at or above the action level: Workplace, 92 N. Main Street, Wharton, NJ a) An employee working in the Production Area including Palletizer 5 and 6 was exposed to continuous noise levels of 104.3 % of the Permissible Action Level Exposure Limit ( 8 hour Time Weighted Average sound level of 85 dBA ) which is 1.04 times the allowable Action Level exposure limit. The extended work shift Action Level for employees who work 11.83 hours is 84.18 dBA. The equivalent sound level of the measured dose is 90.3 dBA. Sampling was performed for 710 minutes on 3/31/22 to 4/1/22. This employee has been working in the Production Area since January 2, 2020. b) An employee working in the Production Area including Bottling Line 5 and was exposed to continuous noise levels of 217 % of the Permissible Action Level Exposure Limit ( 8 hour Time Weighted Average sound level of 85 dBA ) which is 2.17 times the allowable Action Level exposure limit. The extended work shift Action Level for employees who work 10.05 hours is 85.35 dBA. The equivalent sound level of the measured dose is 95.59 dBA. Sampling was performed for 603 minutes on 3/31/22 to 4/1/22. This employee has been working in the Production Area since January 2, 2020. c) An employee working in the Blending Room was exposed to continuous noise levels of 101.9 % of the Permissible Action Level Exposure Limit ( 8 hour Time Weighted Average sound level of 85 dBA ) which is 1.02 times the allowable Action Level exposure limit. The extended work shift Action Level for employees who work 11.98 hours is 85.4 dBA. The equivalent sound level of the measured dose is 90.59 dBA. Sampling was performed for 599 minutes on 3/31/22 to 4/1/22. This employee has been working in the Blend Room since January 2, 2020. Violations determined on or around April 1, 2022
