29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: a) JOHNS MANVILLE, INC., Facility located at 437 North Grove Street, Berlin NJ 08009 / Hot End - Melter level: The employer did not enforce employees with facial hair to be clean shaven when using respirators while cleaning/working near the melter areas and while employees were cleaning augers near and around the melter areas. Occurred on or about 11/08/2021.
