29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(i):Portable cord and plug connected equipment and flexible cord sets (extension cords) were not visually inspected before use on any shift for external defects (such as loose parts, deformed and missing pins, or damage to outer jacket or insulation) and for evidence of possible internal damage (such as pinched or crushed outer jacket): a.) Teijin Automotive Technologies on or about November 08, 2021, at the address of 100 S. Poe Rd. N. Baltimore, OH: The employer did not require/ ensure that flexible cording located at press #6 used to power cooling fans was inspected prior to use. Employees were using damaged flexible cording, in this condition employees were exposed to injuries including but not limited to electrical shock.
