29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees did not use eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a. On 05/13/2021- # 3 Oxford Court, Suffern NY 10901 CSHO observed employee using electric circular saw to cut roof rafters (Photo # 5762) using an electric circular saw exposed to eye loss/eye injuries as eye protection was not utilized. Condition observed on or about 05/13/2021 b. On 05/13/2021- #3 Oxford Court, Suffern NY 10901, CSHO observed an employee installing a gutter system and ice shield using a Metabo pneumatic nail gun was exposed to eye loss/eye injuries due to struck by hazards as eye protection was not utilized.
