29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1):Examination. Electric equipment shall be free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. Safety of equipment shall be determined using the considerations identified in (b)(1)(i)-(b)(1)(viii) of this standard. On or about August 26, 2021, employees were exposed to potential shock hazards when the plastic jacket around the charging prongs for the C&D Technologies battery charger, at charging station #31, was broken and had exposed live components.
