29 CFR 1926.28(a): Appropriate personal protective equipment was not worn by employee(s) in all operations where there was exposure to hazardous conditions: On or about 20 July 2021, at Estate Donoe construction site, St. Thomas, VI. At the heavy construction site, employees engaged in several construction operations were observed without proper safety shoes, safety googles and safety gloves. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
