1910.147(c)(6)(ii) The employer shall certify that the periodic inspections have been performed. The certification shall identify the machine or equipment on which the energy control procedure was being utilized, the date of the inspection, the employees included in the inspection, and the person performing the inspection. 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i)(C): Where lockout was used for energy control, the periodic inspection did not include a review, between the inspector and each authorized employee, of that employee's responsibilities under the energy control procedure being inspected(a): (a) On or about July 8, 2021, at the worksite located at 1450 E. Bolivar Avenue, Saint Francis, WI, the employer did not ensure the periodic inspection included a review between the inspector and each authorized employee, and the employee's responsibilities under the energy control procedure being inspected. The periodic review of hazardous energy control procedures did not include a review of all persons who are authorized to utilize lockout devices and procedures for controlling hazardous energy for equipment such as, but not limited to, the Effytec feeder systems.
