29 CFR 1910.178(a)(6): The employer did not ensure that all nameplates and markings were in place: The employer is failing to protect employees from struck by falling load hazards. This was most recently documented on or about June 17, 2021, at U.S. Assets Recovery, LLC, located at 300 North Black Cat Road, Joplin, Missouri. Employees had operated the Mitsubishi forklifts Company # US01, and # US03 with illegible name plates. This makes it difficult for operators to know lift restrictions and capabilities of the forklift which could cause the forklift to be overloaded.
