29 CFR 1910.146(g)(1): The employer did not provide training so that all employees whose work was regulated by 29 CFR 1910.146 (permit required confined spaces) acquired the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under 29 CFR 1910.146: On or about May 13, 2021, and at times prior, at the Kerr Dam, the employer did not ensure employees were trained. The employees entered into the inspection gallery to perform work and were exposed to hazardous conditions. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure employees whose work was regulated by 29 CFR 1910.146 (permit required confined spaces) acquired the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under 29 CFR 1910.146.
