29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii): The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the scope, purpose, authorization, rules, and techniques to be utilized for the control of hazardous energy, including, but not limited to 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(A) which includes a specific statement of the intended use of the procedure and 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(B) which includes specific procedural steps for blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy: a) JBS Foods, Inc., 800 N. 8th Ave, Greeley, CO 80631: On or before February 17, 2021, the employer did not ensure that the energy control procedures clearly and specifically outline the scope, purpose, authorization, rules, and techniques to be utilized for the control of hazardous energy, including, but not limited to a specific statement of the intended use and specific procedural steps for blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy not found in the Lockout Tagout Equipment Specific Procedure Form - Appendix B with Location Fab and Equipment Name PTC-6. This condition exposes employees to caught-in and amputation hazards.
