29 CFR 1926.651(k)(1): An inspection of the excavations, the adjacent areas, and protective systems was not made after every rainstorm or other hazard increasing occurrence: (a) On or about 01/15/2021 - 7189 New Life Circle, Huntsville, AL also known as 446 Jeff Road NW, Huntsville, AL, employees were exposed to cave-in hazards when an inspection of the trench was not conducted by a competent person after additional digging had been performed with an excavator on the northwest side for approximately 8 feet from the curb toward the building.
