29 CFR 1910.178(m)(8): General requirements. Truck operations. There shall be sufficient headroom under overhead installations, lights, pipes, sprinkler system, etc. a) On or about October 29, 2020, employees were exposed to being caught between the top of the order picker and the I-beam in that the employer did not ensure that there was sufficient headroom under overhead installations, lights, pipes, sprinkler system, in that products were being stored on the top shelves with approximately 1 ft. of clearance between the merchandise and the ceiling and I-beam.
