Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 002 Hazard:
Section (5)(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards: a) 6804 S. Ensenada Street, Aurora CO 80016: On or about October 5, 2020, and at times prior, the employer, DJV Concrete and Caisson Drilling, Inc. failed to keep the workplace free of hazards during caisson drilling operations. Employees working around hoisted loads were exposed to falling objects due to the safety latch being removed from the hoisting hook.
