29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1):Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). On or about September 25, 2020, an employee installing storm sewer in an excavation was not protected from cave-in by an adequate protective system. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
