29 CFR 1910.177(g)(6): Tires on single piece rim wheels were not contained within a restraining device, positioned behind a barrier or bolted on the vehicle with the lug nuts fully tightened during tire inflation: a) At the facility, in front of the maintenance shop, on or about September 8, 2020, the employer did not ensure that an employee inflating a tire utilized the protective measures outlined in the safe operating procedure, including, but not limited to the use of a protective cage, thereby exposing the employee to struck-by hazards.
