29 CFR 1910.151(b): Where the employer did not ensure that in the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid: (a) On or about August 20, 2020, for the employee who was working remotely and after having a portion of his hand amputated, had to self-rescue and drive approximately 5 miles to contact emergency services at or near 157th Avenue in Rhame, North Dakota.
