29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees: Webster Industries, Inc. - Tiffin, Ohio: On or about July 30, 2020, the employer did not ensure that employees who setup and service the Milko-7 milling machine (#12-463) were trained in the skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of energy controls. Employees that setup the machine's cutting wheel, part fixture, and changed cutting inserts were not trained to isolate and/or render energy sources safe.
