29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On May 31, 2020, employees engaged in roofing activity were not protected from fall hazards while working at an elevation of approximately 18 feet above the ground. ECS Roofing Professionals, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1444224, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on March 13, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1801 Milwaukee Ave., Glenview, IL 60025. ECS Roofing Professionals, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1385181, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on April 30, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 122 Tullamore Lane, Lemont, Illinois 60439.
