29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: a) Exterior Front: An employee engaged in framing work was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 8 feet above the lower surface, without the use of a personal fall arrest system. The employer did not ensure that affected employees were provided with a personal fall arrest system, or other means of fall protection, thus exposing employees to a fall hazard, on or about 5/18/20. b) Exterior Front (West Side): An employee engaged in framing work was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet above the ground surface, without the use of a personal fall arrest system. The employer did not ensure that affected employees were provided with a personal fall arrest system, or other means of fall protection, thus exposing employees to a fall hazard, on or about 5/19/20. Cariamanga Framing, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1435929, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on January 30, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at, 604 Mazur Avenue, Paramus, NJ.
